How can I learn more about this blog and why you write what you do?

I have been humbled and overwhelmed with encouragement by those of you who follow this blog on a regular basis and, in the Lord’s grace, are somehow helped by it.  Though much of what I write comes from my daily experiences of pastoral ministry, you’ve probably noticed I don’t share a whole lot of personal information about myself outside that context.  Those interested in knowing more about me, my conversion, my call to ministry, and how this blog came about should listen to a podcast interview Tim Challies and David Murray did with me about life, blogging, pastoral ministry, books, and other related issues, which was recently posted on Tim’s blog.  I am grateful for and supportive of both Tim and David’s ministries and was honored to talk with them.

Click here to listen to the interview and read Tim’s thoughts on it.  If you get a chance to listen, I welcome your thoughts and comments.  Thanks again for all the effort so many of you make to encourage me in this endeavor.

You’re quite welcome. My family and I are currently prayerfully making preparations to move to Louisville for the sole purpose of attending Southern Seminary. Our plans are to be moved by next August. I’m glad to know of both you and Auburndale Church!
