How much should a pastor and his wife share with one another?

I do not reference many other blogs, but feel the freedom to do so if it fits well with what this blog is trying to accomplish.  Through Tim Challies blog, I have found such a blog.  It is written by a mother-daughter combo, both are pastors’ wives and are wrestling through the daily grind of being one.  A needed voice in the blogosphere.  Their blog, Sunday women, had a recent post where they give some helpful advice about how much should a pastor share, or not share with his wife, but also addresses the opposite.  It is worth the read and will hopefully provoke needed discussions on where these boundaries should be placed within each individual ministry marriage.

For my additional thoughts on the subject, check out an earlier blog post where I gave some basic rules to follow in considering this issue.  The post was How much should pastors/elders share with their wives?

Brian, as the husband of one of the Sunday Women bloggers, I’m glad you found it helpful. Thanks for mentioning it. I know it’s an encouragement to them. And thank you for your blog; it contains much helpful material.
