Book Recommendation…for the pastor’s wife

In light of my previous post on Titus 2, I thought it would be helpful to recommend a book to pastors’ wives as they seek to train and mentor ladies in the church.  The best teaching I know on this topic actually comes from Titus 2 and a pastor’s wife in this book, Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahaney.  Carolyn does a faithful exposition of the topic and has been faithful to live it out, as well as use it to train young women in the local church for decades.  This is an outstanding resource for ladies wanting to obey Paul’s clear instruction to women in Titus 2 to, “encourage the young women to love their husbands, children, sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, etc.”  Every pastor’s wife and every Christian woman for that matter should read this book.  You can find the expanded version with discussion questions in the back on sale here.
