Book Recommendation…for the pastor’s evangelism

What is the key to becoming a zealous evangelist?  There are numerous programs that would tell you different answers, but Jeremy Walker gives a very uncommon, yet very biblical answer in his new book, The Brokenhearted Evangelist.  My dear friend, Jeremy Walker, gave me a copy while we recently ministered in England and Scotland together and its “hot off the press” aroma compelled me that much more to tear into it, as I did on the long plane ride back home.  The key to a passionate evangelism comes from a broken heart, specifically a broken heart like David we find in Psalm 51.  Not only is Jeremy a credible counselor with his faithful expositional work from Psalm 51 in this book, but in my experience Jeremy is the most passionate evangelist I know.  Jeremy’s persistence in one on one conversations as well as his open air preaching done every Saturday morning in downtown Crawley, England permeates in every page of this book and without a doubt, you will see and sense his David-like broken heart.  Every pastor and Christian for that matter, needs to put down their “10 easy steps on how to do evangelism” book, pick up Jeremy’s book, and simply pray for a broken heart.
