What are the biblical qualifications for a pastor?

The biblical qualifications for the office of a pastor/elder are mainly found in 2 places:  1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.  I have taken that list and combined those qualities into 5 main categories:

1)  Blameless Reputation.

2)  Manager of home.

3)  Godly character.

4)  Spiritual maturity.

5)  Able to teach.

I just preached an ordination charge to our most recently affirmed pastor just before I left for sabbatical.  It is an exposition of 1 Timothy 3:1-7.  If you would like to hear that sermon charge, you can find it here.  The audio also includes the ordination vows following the sermon if you are curious about how we do them.
