When do I let my church die? (Video SBTS Event)

This was an event put on by The Mathena Center for Church Revitalization at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where Brian Croft leads a panel discussion with Brad Walker, Alan Witham (KBC), and Randall Cofield (LRBA) considering when to let a church die and when to fight for life.  A great discussion.  Enjoy!

Thank you for this post first off. I found it helpful in understanding the many things pastors must consider when leading a church. I also enjoyed the input from the entire panel.
I have a question that I was hoping you may comment/help me with. The church I attend was a plant from our senior church. I am one of the original families that helped to start this church. It has been 13 years for us. The church has been around for 14 years total. My question is, as a layman/deacon/ elder how would you speak to me? The church has not grown and this is a question that has hung over us for many years. We currently have 2 families attending. People have come and mostly gone over the years. Occasionally we have visitors but they are far and few in between. I struggle with all of this. I struggle with believing that this is still something to be apart of. Any counsel would be appreciated.
