Pastor, be present

When ministering to those who are hurting, remember: the goal is not perfection, and you don't need all the right words. Your job isn't to fix their pain, but to simply be present. Embrace the "ministry of presence"—show up, listen, and offer tender care. This act of love helps them realize they are not alone and that God sees and cares for them through you. Silence is okay. Follow their lead. Give them room to grieve. It's about showing God's abiding love.
